On Saturday, 9th September 2023, the Royal Albert Hall presents the highly anticipated Last Night of the Proms 2023. Starting at 7:00 pm, this iconic event showcases the talents of cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, soprano Lise Davidsen, conductor Marin Alsop, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

The evening offers a programme of opera arias, songs, spirituals, choral anthems, and world premieres, along with traditional favourites by Arne, Elgar, and Parry. The programme includes works by R. Strauss, Coleridge-Taylor, Bruch, James B. Wilson, Wagner, Mascagni, Verdi, Kálmán, and Wood, culminating in a finale featuring Arne’s Rule, Britannia!, Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1, Parry’s Jerusalem, Britten’s arrangement of The National Anthem, and the traditional Auld Lang Syne.
