Welsh National Opera (WNO) is seeking a General Director & CEO. The successful candidate will guide the company artistically and operationally, implementing a comprehensive vision and mission. This role requires devising an artistic programme, team management, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of commercial enterprise and income diversification. A personal appreciation for opera, familiarity with its repertoire, and a readiness to champion WNO are essential. Prior experience in opera is not mandatory.

The role reports to the Board of Trustees and entails a commitment to advance WNO’s contributions to the arts, through both performances and outreach programmes.
