St Patrick's Day in Paris with Cois Cladaigh

Cois Cladaigh, the choir that sang at Michael D. Higgins presidential inauguration, will perform twice in Paris on the St Patrick's Day weekend.

Cois Cladaigh, the choir that sang at Michael D. Higgins presidential inauguration, will perform at the Centre Culturel Irlandais on Friday, 16 March. Conducted by Brendan O’Connor, the choir will includes music from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries in its programmes, as well as music from the present day. The concert begins at 7.30pm with tickets costing €10. Proceeds go to the charity Goal.

The Irish Chamber Choir of Paris, which is based in the Centre Culturel Irlandais, will join Cois Cladaigh for a second concert on St Patrick’s Day, 17 March at 8.30pm. This performance takes place in the church of Saint-Séverin, which like the centre is also in the city’s Latin Quarter.

Cois Cladaigh, which is based in Galway, is now in its thirtieth year.
