The annual English Folk Expo is set to take place in Manchester's Northern Quarter from 19th to 21st October 2023 and run concurrently with the Manchester Folk Festival.

More than 50 artists will be showcasing. Artists announced so far include Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Maddy Prior & Forgotten Lands, Martin Carthy & Jon Wilks, Sam Lee, Will Pound & Jenn Butterworth, and many others.

A highlight of the Expo, the 2023 International Showcase Partnerships, will take place on Saturday 21st October, presented by Dranoeter VZW (Flanders), Export Music Sweden, Seoul Music Week (South Korea), and Music PEI (Prince Edward Island, Canada).

The English Folk Expo Trade Fair will occur on Friday 20th October, providing a platform for artists, agents, and industry organisations to present their work to delegates. Additionally, the European Folk Network conference (19th-20th October) and the 15th Anniversary Un-Convention music conference (20th-21st October) will be hosted in Manchester alongside the Expo.

An English Folk Expo Delegate Pass provides access to all industry delegate events and Manchester Folk Festival performances.
