Sophie Coyle has recently released her new album ‘Cuentista’. This set of eleven original songs and two old Spanish ballads chronicles Coyle’s voyages in South America. Featuring a rich soundscape of musicians and the love of storytelling and melody Coyle is known for, this album promises to be an extremely good listen. Mellow and with a distinctly South American influenced flavour it puts one in mind of a tango bar at closing time. The album was recorded over the COVID lock downs in the Black Mountain Studios, Co. Louth and mixed by Chris Barry (Junior Brother, The Mary Wallopers) at Ailfionn Recording Studios with tracks arranged and performed by Glas Quartet and their founder Annmarie McGahon (Biffy Clyro).

Supporting act on the night is SELK, performing as a trio with with Dennis Cassidy on drums and Barry Brady on guitar.
