Limerick City and County Council is currently accepting applications for the Limerick Festivals and Events Grant Scheme 2024/2025, designed to support the local festivals and events sector. This initiative, managed by the Council’s Festivals and Events team, aims to enhance Limerick’s cultural landscape and promote its status as a vibrant destination for festivals and events.

The grant scheme is competitive and offers funding across three categories: Strand 1 focuses on the delivery and programming of small and community-focused festivals and events; Strand 2 targets medium and large-scale festivals and events; and Strand 3 supports festival development and sustainability. This funding is exclusively available for festivals and events taking place within Limerick.
