Creative Clusters 2024
The Department of Education announces the Creative Clusters 2024–2026 initiative, a part of the Creative Ireland, Creative Youth Plan 2023–2027, aimed at fostering creativity in education.
The programme encourages the formation of clusters, consisting of 3 to 5 schools, which can include primary schools, post-primary schools, special education schools, and Youthreach organisations. Participating clusters will engage in a two-year project to experiment, innovate, and collaborate on creative endeavors addressing common development needs or issues. Commitment to participation for the academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26 is required.
Additionally, regional workshops will be held in September and October 2024, with substitution cover provided for one teacher per participating school. This opportunity seeks to build creative educational communities of practice, enhancing the learning experience through collaboration and creativity.
Schools interested in participating are invited to apply via the online application form by 5pm, Friday, 10 May 2024.
