Heart of the Community Fund 2024
The Ireland Funds is currently accepting applications for the Heart of the Community Fund 2024, aiming to support not-for-profit organisations in Ireland delivering essential services. The grant offers between €5,000 and €25,000 to organisations with an annual turnover under €/£3,000,000. The total funds allocated for this round amount to at least €500,000.
Organisations can apply via the online portal from April 15th, with guidelines available for review beforehand. The application should outline the organisation’s mission, activities, effectiveness, financial needs, and potential uses of the funds. A flexible funding portion allows for up to 25% of the grant to be allocated to contingency costs. Applications close on 3 May; late submissions will not be considered.
Funding will prioritise community integration and inclusion, with a focus on specific groups such as youth, families, and underrepresented communities.
