Long-time fiddle and pipes duo, Mick O’Brien (uilleann pipes, flute, whistle) and Caoimhin O Raghallaigh (fiddle, hardanger fiddle, whistle) released their first album, Kitty Lie Over (2003), to widespread acclaim. Drawing inspiration from sources as varied as Séamus Ennis, the Clare fiddler Patrick Kelly, Willie Clancy and the Donegal fiddler Neillidh Boyle, Mick and Caoimhín come together to produce emphatic, uplifting, sometimes breathtaking music.

The combination of tradition, skill and sheer love of the music will have you feeling every quirk of the bow and sound of the reed as they share their interpretation of traditional Irish melodies.
