Ireland Music Week 2024 Open for Applications

Conference and showcase event takes place on 1–4 October; deadline for applications is 25 March.

Music showcase and conference Ireland Music Week is now seeking artists to perform at this year’s event. The event, which is run by First Music Contact, will be held in Dublin from 1 to 4 October and will host a series of showcase events as part of its programme. Each year Ireland Music Week attracts international labels, publishers, bookers, agents, managers and other music industry professionals.

Artist applications are open until 25 March and artists across all genres are invited to apply. Up to fifty acts will be selected to showcase, with the full line-up being announced in June.

‘Seeing how brilliantly past IMW showcasing artists have been doing globally over the last few years really shows us how vital a step the showcase can be for an artist’s growth,’ said Angela Dorgan, CEO of First Music Contact.

Since being founded in 2003, the event has showcased many Irish acts including Fontaines D.C., Hozier, Gilla Band, CMAT, THUMPER, Junior Brother, Denise Chaila, Pillow Queens, Aoife Nessa Frances, Ailbhe Reddy and David Keenan. Last year’s line-up included artists such as Chubby Cat, Morgana, The Love Buzz, Rachael Lavelle and Nealo.
