International Speakers Announced for Ireland Music Week

Showcase and conference taking place from 4 to 7 October; speakers include representatives from Rough Trade, SXSW, Primavera Pro, Universal Music UK, Domino and Partisan Records.

The Irish music showcase and conference Ireland Music Week has announced the international delegates for this year’s event, taking place from 4 to 7 October. The representatives from the fields of artist management, record labels, music publishing, PR, booking and festivals will take part in talks, discussions, speed sessions and networking events, as well as attending the artist showcases. 

Among the speakers are Dev Sherlock, Senior Music Festival Programmer at SXSW; Elena Barreras, Booker with Primavera Pro; Paul Jones, A&R at Rough Trade; Shiarra Bell, Head of Artist Relations & Talents at Universal Music UK; and Charlot Henzen, Head of Synchronisation at Domino Recording Company. Glenn Peoples, Lead Analyst at Billboard; Suzanna Slavin, Senior Vice President of A&R at Mom + Pop Music label; and Emma Snook of Partisan Records will also feature. 

Ireland Music Week continues its partnership with Keychange this year and will include three participants from the programme in the conference – licencing manager Affa Alizadeh (Sweden), record label manager Kertu Mägar (Estonia) and manager and promoter Lennea Lyssand (Norway).

The Ireland Music Week conference will take place in Lost Lane, while the showcases will be held in The Grand Social, Lost Lane and the Workman’s Club. 

Artists performing at the event include The Scratch, Pretty Happy, Kyoto Love Hotel, Thumper, ROE, Bobbi Arlo, Paper Clap and Seba Safe.
