The Arts Council is inviting applications for its Young People, Children, and Education (YPCE) Residencies programme, designed to foster collaboration between artists or arts organisations and higher education institutions offering initial teacher education or qualifications in early childhood education and care. With a funding cap of €20,000, the initiative aims to enrich educational settings through the arts, offering artists opportunities to develop their work and skills in an academic environment, while enabling educators and future educators to integrate artistic practices into their teaching.

Eligibility extends to higher education institutions in the Republic of Ireland, which must partner with artists or arts organisations for their application.

The deadline for submissions is 17:30, Thursday 4 April 2024.
