Arts in Early Learning and Childcare Scheme

Arts in Early Learning and Childcare Scheme

Thursday, 4 April 2024, 5.30pm

The Arts Council is inviting applications for the Arts in Early Learning and Childcare Scheme 2024, aimed at enriching the lives of babies and young children through the arts. This initiative seeks proposals from individual artists and organisations, offering up to €40,000 in funding. The focus is on fostering meaningful arts exploration and engagement opportunities for young children, while supporting collaborative, reflective, and evaluative practices among artists, early-years educators, school-age practitioners, families, and carers.

The scheme comprises three strands:
Early Learning and Childcare – For partnerships between artists/arts organisations and Tusla-registered services, encompassing a variety of early learning and childcare settings.
International Protection – Dedicated to supporting children aged birth to 6 from Ukraine and other conflict-affected areas through trauma-informed artistic practices.
Combined Contexts – If your proposal spans both the aforementioned strands.

The deadline for applications is 17:30, Thursday 04 April 2024.
