Recital - Andrew Boushell (tenor) and Robbie Carroll (organ)
Andrew Boushell is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and Operastudio Vlaanderen, Belgium.
Andrew is in demand as a concert and recital soloist and has sung in venues such as The National Concert Hall, Dublin, St Georges Hannover Square, London, Brugge Concertcentruum, Bruges, De Singel Antwerp and Handel Halle, Germany.
His concert repertoire includes Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solenelle, Elgar’s The Apostles and Bach’s St John and St Matthew Passions.
Andrew covered the role of Števa Buryja in Janáček's Jenůfa at English National Opera and subsequent engagements have included Haydn’s ‘Die Jahrseiten in Dublin and the role of Sir Philip Wingrave/Narrator for an Irish tour of Owen Wingrave with Opera Collective Ireland in association with the I.C.O and Académie de l’Opéra National de Paris.
Most recently, Andrew performed the role of Jove/Amphinous at the Kilkenny Arts Festival with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin conducted by Christian Curnyn.
