Galway Community Circus is seeking a Development Coordinator to support and enhance its fundraising efforts. This full-time position is central to the implementation of the organisation’s fundraising strategy, aiming to increase income and diversify funding sources to realise its artistic ambitions. The role involves managing the Friends’ Scheme, developing corporate partnerships, identifying funding opportunities, and assisting in grant applications.

The successful candidate will be a graduate with experience in fundraising, business development, marketing, or sales, showcasing a strong affinity for the arts, excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for the mission and values of Galway Community Circus is essential, alongside a commitment to professional development and recognition of the importance of young people in society.

Offering a salary of €30,000–€35,000 per annum, based on experience, the role requires flexibility with occasional weekend and evening work. Located in Galway, the position allows for hybrid working options. This is a two-year contract, subject to a probation period, with the possibility of extension.
