Age & Opportunity is inviting tender applications for the role of Facilitator for the Artists Care Exchange (ACE) initiative, aimed at professionals working in the arts and care settings for older people.

This role, active from September to December 2024, with preliminary participant recruitment in June/July, focuses on enhancing artists’ understanding of the ethics and practicalities of engaging with older individuals in care environments. The facilitator will organise and lead seven sessions (four online, two in-person) designed to foster knowledge exchange among artists and provide insights from experts in social, medical, and arts fields related to ageing. Additionally, the facilitator will coordinate mentoring for participants with experienced artists.

The successful applicant will plan the initiative, secure expert speakers, assist in participant recruitment, manage session logistics, and oversee communications. A 700-word proposal detailing the approach for ACE 2024, a one-page CV, a current Tax Clearance Certificate, and any relevant additional information are required for the application.
