Our doors might be closed, but the creativity continues.

Droichead is delighted to announce our first strand of ARTIST BURSARIES for 2021. Three bursaries of €4,000 each are available for professional artists who are based in Louth and East Meath. Part of our strategy, enabling arts and artists, supporting the work and development of artists in this region.

These bursaries are open to artists working in all disciplines and art forms, and we welcome applications from all artists in Louth and East Meath. So if you have an idea that you would like to develop, a piece of work that you want to complete, apply! We will also offer support in kind including space and mentoring as required and we will assist with documentation of the project. The bursaries are for three artists to work over a six-month period from March – August 2021. For further details on how to apply please visit our website https://www.droichead.com/show/873623174

Deadline: 5:00pm Fri 5 February 2021

Decisions: A panel, which will include the Droichead director, and two external arts professionals will assess all submissions. Successful artists will be notified on Friday 19 February 2021. If you have any queries please email [email protected]
