West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival 2024
The West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival takes place from 15 to 19 May and features a lineup of international and Irish musicians.
Among this year’s artists are violinist Hyeyoon Park, horn player Ben Goldscheider, pianist and festival founder Fiachra Garvey, violinist Inmo Yang, pianist Yannick Rafalimanana, the Sitkovetsky Trio, cellist Ailbhe McDonagh, Quatuor Arod, jazz singer Judi Jackson, soprano Claudia Boyle, baritone Gyula Nagy, and rising stars Maria O’Dea and Luke Lally Maguire. There will also be a Peter and the Wolf family concert featuring the Irish Chamber Orchestra Wind Quintet and narrator Jos Vantyler.
The West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival was founded by Fiachra Garvey in 2017. Since then, it has grown to include a flagship festival each May and a Winter Weekend of concerts each November. Venues include Russborough House, one of Ireland’s most historic and iconic Palladian houses, St Mary’s Church in Blessington, and the Tramway Theatre in Blessington.
