Beardfire Music is set to present the single launch of “Belly Ripper” by Dumb Posh Hippies, with support from Joe Maxi and Queen Bitch, at the Workman’s Club Main Room on Friday, 22nd March 2024. The doors will open at 7pm, with entry priced at €10.

Dumb Posh Hippies, a three-piece band from Dublin known for their psych-influenced punk sound and energetic live performances, have quickly gained recognition in the local music scene. Their 2023 release, the “King of Kimmage” EP, received positive attention for its dynamic sound and has led to several successful performances across various venues and festivals.

Joe Maxi, a four-piece punk-rock ensemble, also hails from Dublin and is celebrated for their mix of indie grooves and punk rock energy. Their musical influences include Pixies, Fugazi, and Black MIDI, contributing to a diverse and engaging sound.

Completing the lineup, Queen Bitch is the musical project of Irish artist Róisín Bohan, offering a blend of rock, blues, grunge, and more. Bohan’s work explores a wide range of human experiences through her music, drawing comparisons to iconic artists like Patti Smith and Karen O.
