The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, located in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Assistant Orchestra Manager. This role entails supporting the orchestral management team, particularly the Orchestra Manager and the Stage and Transport Co-ordinator, with administrative, logistical, and stage management tasks for the Royal Northern Sinfonia (RNS) at both The Glasshouse and external venues. The position requires a clean UK Driver’s Licence and involves variable working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the orchestra’s schedule.

Applicants should possess excellent communication, organisational skills, and a willingness to work unsociable hours. A calm, capable personality and team-working abilities are essential, with a preference for candidates having or willing to obtain First Aid training and a knowledge of Classical music.
