Ahead of its 2024 return, the first round of artists have been announced for The Road To The Great Escape. The two-day festival is taking place on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th May 2024 in venues across Dublin including Whelan’s, Grand Social, Workman’s Club, and Academy 2.

The Road To The Great Escape blends the best of rising Irish talent with some of the most exciting newcomers from across the world. Irish acts include contemporary folk trio Amble, who have just announced their brand new EP Of Land And Sea following sold-out shows in Workman’s Cellar and The Sugar Club.

Italian-Irish outfit Big Sleep and Dublin-born, Irish-based singer-songwriter Sarah, who earned widespread acclaim for her debut project Death By Laundry last year, make up the rest of the Irish contingent.

From an international perspective, this year’s festival will also include Australian pop-duo Cat & Calmell, Chinese-Vietnamese-British rapper Jianbo, Overpass from the Birmingham Indie scene, and singer-writer-producer Joe P.
