Sligo Jazz Project’s Festival and Summer School takes place from 19 to 24 July 2022.

This year’s Artist-in-Residence is award-winning UK composer and bandleader Nikki Iles.

There will be a range of concerts and jam sessions through the week featuring Bjorn Solli and John Moriarty, TRYPL, Christine Tobin, Cathal Roche, Daniel Herskedal Trio, Stuart Hall and Paul Clarvis, Nikki Iles Jazz Orchestra featuring Mike Walker, Paul Clarvis Quartet featuring Cathy Jordan, MBQ TRIO featuring Federico Malaman, Ashley Pezzotti Quartet, Bill Blackmore Trio with Darragh O’Kelly (keys) and Derek Whyte (Bass), Tony Kofi, Colm O’Hara Quartet and more.

  • 10am-4pm special morning workshops, masterclasses, ensemble workshops (as per summer school schedule page updated annually), each day Tues 19 July to Fri 22 July
  • Lunch included Tues 21 July to Fri 22 July
  • Morning ensemble and masterclass Sat 23 July
  • Admission to all Sligo Jazz Festival Concerts, Tues-Saturday
  • Admission to Festival Club each
  • Participation at Twice Daily jam Sessions, 5pm and 10:30pm and SJP BIG BASH Sunday afternoon 1pm
