Bray Jazz Festival 2024
Bray Jazz Festival takes place this year over the May bank holiday weekend, from 3 to 5 May.
Now in its 23rd year, the festival will present a programme of concerts and fringe events in venues in Bray and Greystones.
The festival will host iconic American jazz pianist Ethan Iverson for his first-ever performance in Bray, welcome back celebrated New York trumpeter Dave Douglas, and present performances by artists such as Syrian flautist Naïssam Jalal, British jazz pianist Zoe Rahman and her quintet, Senegal 10-piece Orchestra Baobab, Glasgow jazz singer Georgia Cécile, and Dublin band Next Experiment, as part of a programme including artists from Finland, Holland, Syria, France, Italy, Switzerland and Armenia.
There will also be a programme of free fringe concerts at the Harbour Bar, a new late-night series of pop-up concerts and performances by Meilana Gillard, Ethan Iverson, Carole Nelson Trio, Collider, the Scott Flanigan trio and more.
