TWO CITIES | Cappella Caeciliana and New Dublin Voices
Two of the island's leading choirs - Cappella Caeciliana and New Dublin Voices - are delighted to join forces to present concerts in Belfast and (subsequently) Dublin.
Conducted respectively by Matthew Quinn and Bernie Sherlock, the joint choirs with over 50 singers in total will perform in St Malachy's Church in Belfast city centre. Opened in 1844 this beautiful building has great historical significance, not least that it is the oldest surviving Catholic church building in the city.
The programme includes a varied selection of music, and features in particular the extraordinary Mass for Double Choir by Frank Martin. Full programme details are available at https://concert-diary.com/concert/1731919873/Two-Cities-Cappella-Caeciliana-and-New-Dublin-Voices
Tickets £15 from www.caeciliana.org and Matchetts Music, Wellington Place, Belfast. Free entry (no ticket required) for students and under 25s.
