Offaly County Council is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Arts Officer. The successful applicant will play a key role in the implementation of the Offaly Arts Strategy 2024–2028, advocating for the arts and enhancing community well-being through high-quality arts activities.

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of arts practices and organisational structures within Ireland, particularly in relation to artist and arts organisation development. Essential qualities include strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills, as well as the ability to manage complex projects and financial resources effectively.

Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of arts services, managing arts projects and programmes, increasing public engagement in the arts, and assisting with funding applications.
