The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival Recital Series returns for 2024 as part of Ireland’s Summer Opera Festival, taking place across a broad range of venues in the area.

Join Dean Power – tenor, Anna-Helena Maclachlan – mezzo-soprano and Frasier Hickland – piano at St. Mary's Collegiate Church as they explore much loved vocal repertoire by Handel and Haydn.

BVOF returns to St Mary’s Collegiate Church in Youghal for the 2024 festival. Nestled within the protective arms of Youghal Town Walls in the Raleigh Quarter, this large medieval parish church can claim to be the oldest church in Ireland with continuous worship since the 13th century.

Tickets €25/ €10. Limited concession tickets available for senior citizens, full-time students, unwaged and disabled visitors.

Booking is now open for all festival events at BVOF 2024 with tickets for all performances now available. This year's festival runs from 27 May - 3 June, with 22 events at 11 venues across 8 days.
