CALLING LEAVING CERT. MUSIC STUDENTS AND ALL WHO ARE CURIOUS ABOUT BACH'S MUSIC!

Come to our BACH TO SCHOOL 2024 WORKSHOP on J.S. Bach's cantata, 'Jesu, der du meine Seele' (BWV 78).

The workshop will be presented by John Doyle, Music Director of Dun Laoghaire Choral Society and Senior Cycle Music teacher.

John is a gifted conductor, musician and teacher and our interactive workshop promises to be fun and very informative. It is also a wonderful opportunity to interact with some of Ireland's leading instrumentalists and soloists.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO LEAVING CERT. MUSIC STUDENTS: if you're not doing a language oral on the afternoon of Sunday 24 March, BACH TO SCHOOL 2024 will help with your L.C. Music exam.

The workshop costs €5.

For STUDENTS of all ages, the €5 fee includes entry to our concert afterwards, where we'll be performing Cantata 78, Vivaldi's exuberant 'Gloria' and two gorgeous Bach motets (see our socials for more).

For NON-STUDENTS, the €5 fee covers entrance to the workshop only. Concert tickets are €20 (general admission) / €15 (pension/unwaged) and can be bought separately from Eventbrite or purchased on the door. (See our Journal of Music 'Spring Concert 2024 Bach-Vivaldi' concert listing!)
