Marketing @ The Complex

The Complex seeks to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager with a high-level of expertise and knowledge. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for Marketing, Sales, Communications and Promotions.

The Complex is Dublin's newest arts centre in the north inner city, producing a full schedule of exciting arts events and exhibitions including visual art, theatre, music concerts, and dance performances. The Complex comprises a Gallery, 17 artists' studios, The Depot, a 350 seat warehouse performance space and The Cooler, a music and presentation room.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible to the Director, Finance and Operations

Devise and implement a marketing campaign for The Complex's annual programme

Liaise with all the separate event promoters to develop a streamlined approach to marketing their projects within the brand.

Work with PR and press consultants to increase The Complex's visibility.

Create and manage a separate marketing strategy for in house theatre and music productions

Build audiences for theatre

Generate ticket sales for in house productions

Collate a visual art audience database

Galvanize relationships with local residents and businesses

Manage the website

Work with the in-house Graphic Designer to utilize and develop the brand

Manage the Communications and Digital Media Assistants

Assist the Managing Director in procuring sponsors.

Essential

3 years professional marketing experience

Knowledge of the Arts World in Ireland

Initiative and self-starter qualities

Sensitivity to arts practice

Good at sales

Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 commensurate with experience. A contract-based engagement could also be considered.
