The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra (BBC SSO) is seeking a new Head of Artistic Planning.

The primary responsibilities of the Head of Artistic Planning include the development of the orchestra’s artistic programme, managing the production and learning team, and ensuring the orchestra’s output maintains the highest quality across BBC platforms. This role demands collaboration with the Director, Chief Conductor, Senior Management Team, and artistic partners, aiming to craft a programme that engages and expands the orchestra’s audience.

Additionally, experience in managing a production team, overseeing music learning initiatives, and developing commercial strategies are crucial for the role.
