Artist and Youth Work Full Residency Grant

Friday, 29 March 2024, 12.00pm

The National Youth Council of Ireland, acting on behalf of the Arts Council and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth, presents the Artist and Youth Work Full Residency Grant. This initiative is set up to encourage and support innovative collaborations between youth groups, artists, and arts organisations, with a funding provision of €5,000. The aim is to facilitate the integration of arts into youth work, thereby enhancing young people’s access to quality youth arts experiences.

Eligible projects for this grant are those where a partnership has been established between the artist, youth group, and any relevant organisations. These projects should focus on developing youth arts practice within youth work settings and ensuring that young people play a central role in the decision-making process. The funding is designed to support residencies that offer substantial and meaningful creative opportunities to the participants.

Applications for this grant are submitted online and must be completed by Friday, March 29th at 12pm. Additionally, the council will host online FAQ sessions on Tuesday, March 5th from 12pm to 1pm and Wednesday, March 6th from 3pm to 4pm to address any inquiries about the scheme.
