Cairde Sligo Arts Festival
The first acts for this year's Cairde Sligo Arts Festival have been announced. Taking place from July 6 to 13, 2024, the festival promises to transform Sligo town and county into a vibrant hub of colourful and exciting festive activity, featuring events across music, theatre, dance, literary, family-friendly shows and more. Inspired by the creative energy of Ireland’s Northwest, Cairde Sligo Arts Festival is a unique coming together of artists and audiences. It is a celebration of imagination and shared experience that welcomes all. The first acts include incredible Malian music by Boubacar Traore, Adania Shibli in conversation with Louise Kennedy (literary), United Fall’s KING | SHRINE (dance), award-winning Catalan street theatre performer, Joan Catalá and The Air Between Us (aerial).
