The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media has launched a Night-Time Economy Accessibility Survey to improve inclusivity for people with disabilities. This survey aims to identify barriers faced by patrons and artists with disabilities in accessing nightlife activities such as concerts, theatres, galleries, restaurants, and sporting venues.

Developed in collaboration with Ireland Thinks and Disabled Persons’ Organisations, the survey seeks input from individuals with disabilities, artists with disabilities, and organisations working with persons with disabilities.

The findings will inform a report containing actionable recommendations to enhance accessibility in the Night-Time Economy.

The survey closes on 10 June 2024.
