The Royal Academy of Music is looking for a bow restorer to join its busy Museum and Collections team in September 2016 to contribute to the repair, maintenance and conservation of historical and modern bows belonging to the Academy’s fine collection. You will assess and repair the bows in preparation for student loans and liaise with the students and musicians to advise them with regard to the proper handling, care and maintenance of the bow to guarantee its longevity.
