Scottish Opera invites applications for the position of Section Principal 2nd Violin, based in Glasgow. This role offers a weekly salary of £732.43, with a minimum guarantee of 29 weeks of work per year.

Responsibilities include performing in main-stage and medium-scale operas, participating in educational outreach, and engaging in concerts and recordings.

Auditions will be held in Glasgow and London, starting with audio-visual screenings on 13 June 2024, followed by in-person rounds on 6 August in Glasgow and 15 August in London. Applications should be submitted by 31 May 2024 at 5pm.
