The Popular Music course at Falmouth is expanding through an emphasis on creative practice, enterprise and critical thinking. The successful candidate must have excellent subject knowledge and experience in the practice and/or production of popular music. Ideally, the candidate will have working links within the music industry and will be able to incorporate a specialist interest in popular music studies as related to critical musicology, semiotics and the other arts. She/he will have an ability to contextualise popular music practice within an appropriately critical and creative context.
