Madness @ Galway Summer Sessions 2024
Madness have recently achieved their first studio UK Official Charts No.1 with the album 'Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie'. Building on this milestone, they have announced their upcoming 'C’est La Vie' summer tour for 2024.
The tour is set to culminate with a summer performance at Galway Airport on Saturday, 10th August, as a part of the Galway Summer Sessions 2024. Fans can secure tickets, priced at €59.90 (including booking fee), starting from Friday, 1st December at 9 am at the link below.
The album 'Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie' arrives seven years after their previous record. It features a diverse range of songs, from Daniel ‘Woody’ Woodgate's ‘Round We Go’ to Chrissy-Boy’s ‘Run For Your Life’, culminating in lead single 'C'est La Vie' which reflects on everyday life challenges. Adding a distinctive touch to the album is a prologue by Emmy and BAFTA Awards winning actor Martin Freeman.
Madness, emerging from Camden Town in the late 70s, has remained a prominent figure in British culture. They recently featured in a three-part docu-series with TV channel AMC, 'Before We Was We: Madness by Madness', which narrates the band's rise to fame.
