Cork born in 1969, Ger eats and breathes music, releasing and touring 9 albums of his own work since 1995. His most recent is ‘The Morning Star’ released in 2021 during the lockdown. Working mainly in contemporary and traditional folk and sean nós, his best-loved song is ‘The Curra Road’, first championed on national radio by the broadcaster John Creedon.
