The Arts Council of Ireland is currently offering the Authored Works funding programme, designed for film artists focused on creating a feature-length, artist-led cultural film. The programme encourages films from a robust artistic perspective, with a total funding of up to €247,500 available per project. This includes €230,000 for production and an additional €17,500 for exhibition support upon approval of an exhibition strategy.

Eligibility and Application Details:
Applicant: Individual Artist; collaborative applications permitted.
Application Deadline: 17:30, Thursday 06 June 2024.
Submission: Applications must be completed online via the Arts Council’s Online Services. Registration on this portal is required prior to application submission.

Applicants will be shortlisted and invited to discuss their proposals in July 2024. Films should be completed in time to premiere at the Irish Film Institute in 2026.
