Bob Gallagher/ITSC are delighted to share that our documentary, "It's Fine Thing to Sing: Songs and singers of the Inishowen Peninsula" will screen in Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris as part of the their St Patrick's Day celebrations.

The 60 minute documentary follows singers Ian Lynch (Lankum), Ye Vagabonds and The Henry Girls as they create their own interpretations of Inishowen songs.

Framed within the stunning landscape of the area, these new performances, atmospheric archival recordings and accompanying interviews with key community figures demonstrate how songs pass from singer to singer, while also examining the question of why we sing.

The two-day visit also includes a special Gaulin/ITSC Singing Session featuring Grace Toland as guest singer on Thursday 14 March 2024 in Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris.
