Handed Down Sliabh Luachra Series Scartaglin are delighted to welcome fiddle players Aoife Nic Chormaic and Steve Larkin to Scartaglin to present ‘Julia and Bridgie /The Murphy sisters .
Julia Clifford and Bridgie Kelliher grew up in a music mad household in Lisheen Gneeveguilla , a house that produced 8 Sliabh Luachra fiddle players and some of the finest recordings ever made . With rare photos and rare home recordings, the story of the two very close sisters will be told on Saturday February 18 at 8 pm.
With a supporting music from local Sliabh Luachra musicians.
