Online Body Mapping Course with Diane Daly and ESTA Ireland

European String Teachers Association Ireland (ESTA Ireland) is holding an exciting online Body Mapping course taught by Diane Daly.

The course ‘What Every Musician Needs to Know About the Body’ will be delivered online through a 9-hour training programme over 6 sessions. It is a first-of-its-kind offered in Ireland and will be held via Zoom on Sunday mornings from 10:30am until 12:00 noon starting on Sunday, 24 September 2023. There will be 5 consecutive Sunday sessions and a final masterclass on Sunday, 12 November.

Course Fee: €150 (€120 for ESTA Ireland members). Students are invited to participate for free.

Although Diane mainly works with string players, the Body Mapping course is for all musicians who seek joyful music-making without any limitations.

About Diane:

Diane is a celebrated performer and educator. She has performed internationally as a soloist, chamber musician, and in orchestras. She is also a noted educator and has recently taken on the role of Head of Strings at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Body Mapping enables musicians to move according to the bodies’ true anatomical design, enhancing performance by increasing freedom and facility. It helps to unleash artistic expression and to prevent performance-related injuries. Having trained in Body Mapping for a number of years, Diane is a licensed member of the Association of Body Mapping Education, having become the first qualified European string player in 2021.
