This is an excellent opportunity for an early career arts administrator to become familiar with all aspects of the running of a small arts organisation and classical recording label by joining the unique, award-winning arts charity and new music record label, NMC Recordings.

Term: This appointment is a permanent position
Hours: Full-time (5 days / 35 hours per week)
Location: The office is based in Bethnal Green, London. NMC staff have adopted a hybrid way of working, dividing their time between office and homeworking.
Salary: £23,500 – 24,500 pa
Benefits: 23 days’ holiday pro rata plus bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.

About the role:
The main purpose of the Officer and Development Assistant role is to provide efficient office administration and support to a small team; and to support the Fundraising & Development Manager across all areas of fundraising, towards achieving an annual target of c.£250,000 - £300,000 a year. This includes overseeing the day-to-day running of NMC's individual giving schemes and assisting with the planning of cultivation opportunities for donors. The role will require you to work across NMC's small team, including directly with the Executive Director.

Person specification:
This role would suit a highly organised and personable entrance-level arts professional with an interest in or experience across a variety of areas. You will be hard-working, methodical and self-motivated, being able to work as part of a small dynamic team and with an analytical and enquiring mind, and a desire to learn.
