“THE INTERNAL SERIES” is an interdisciplinary work, by dancer Alice Presencer and violinist Jane Hackett. The series is an introspective ode to the unsaid, as we navigate a tumultuous social landscape full of disruption and uncertainty.
The work explores the internal obstacles within forming one’s sense of self, depicting the trials and tribulations toward eventual acceptance in a post-pandemic world.
By exploring this there through movement storytelling, new music, improvisation and audiovisual film works, the series demonstrates the individual and universal experiences of the times we live in. Together, we perform a journey of the self, in all its solitude, awkwardness and hope.
