The Far Flung Trio brings you their eclectic mix of music in this exciting concert which blends the folk worlds of Tango, Klezmer, Choro and Paris café music with well-known classics and operatic excerpts together with a few unexpected surprises!

The Trio are three best friends who just love getting together and playing great, well-known tunes from many different styles. There’s not a lot of music written for this unusual combination of instruments so the trio unashamedly poaches music originally written for other combinations (even a full orchestra!) and adapts it for themselves. The trio always presents concerts in a relaxed and informal manner, chatting and cajoling the audience as they take them on a whirlwind tour from the tango milongas of Buenos Aires, via a Paris café all the way to the Opera House with plenty of other twists and turns along the way. Expect to find tunes by Paganini, Edith Piaf, Astor Piazzolla, Grieg, Verdi and many more…… A Fun Afternoon!
