Drogheda Arts Festival 2023
The Drogheda Arts Festival has announced its line-up for a two-day event on April 29th and 30th, operating under the theme "Small but Mighty." The festival will feature national and international artists, including Irish blues and jazz musician Mary Coughlan, Scottish novelist and playwright Irvine Welsh, and acclaimed Dundalk artist David Keenan. Also performing are The Trinitones, Tumble Circus, and Poppy from Bee-ology. The festival aims to provide free family entertainment in the streets and place the community at the center of its focus. Black Dove's spray paint art, inspired by powerful females, will also be featured throughout the festival. Welsh will also host a conversation at the Highlanes Gallery before a DJ set at the Living Room in Sarsfield Bar. Coughlan's performance will take place at St Gerrard’s Church, where she will sing from her new album 'Life Stories'.
