The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival Recital Series returns for 2024 as part of Ireland’s Summer Opera Festival, and will take place across a broad range of venues in the area.

The Irish Melodies Recital at Villierstown Church will feature music by Ina Boyle, Rhoda Coghill, and Elizabeth Maconchy. With Laura Aherne – soprano, Stephen Walker – tenor, Georgina Cassidy – piano, Frasier Hickland – piano

Booking is now open for all festival events at BVOF 2024 with tickets for all performances now available. This year's festival runs from 27 May - 3 June, with 22 events at 11 venues across 8 days.
