Liverpool Philharmonic seeks a full-time, permanent Choral Manager for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir (RLPC), based in Liverpool.

This role involves leading the delivery and development of the RLPC’s programme, including rehearsals, concerts, and additional choral activities. The Choral Manager will plan schedules with the Director of Choirs, manage budgets, liaise with freelance staff, maintain membership records, and ensure the choir’s operations align with the business plan.

Applicants must be experienced in managing volunteers, possess a strong knowledge of symphonic choral repertoire, and have excellent interpersonal skills. A music degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.

The position offers a £27,500 annual salary, with a 35-hour work week that includes evenings and weekends as required by the choir’s schedule. Benefits include staff tickets, a health cash plan, pension contributions, training opportunities, and more. Applications close at noon on 19 April 2024.
