Role summary
The NCH is seeking suitable applications from candidates for the role of Contracts and Administration Executive. This post sits within the Programme Planning Team which brings together artistic programming, working with promoter partners and artistic collaborations. It is at the centre of driving NCH’s concert programme. The overall purpose of the role is to work as part of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the administration, communication, and delivery of NCH’s programme output.

Key responsibilities
The role of Contracts and Administration Executive is a key Executive Officer (EO) position within the NCH and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Managing contracts administration with promoters, agents and partners.
- Managing concert information on NCH’s diary system
- Managing and distributing concert and production information between NCH and artists / agents and across NCH teams
- Liaising with promoters, agents, partners and NCH teams
- Supporting promoter relationships
- Supporting the administration and delivery of NCH programmes
- Working cross-departmentally on NCH programmes
- Supporting the Programme Planning Team as necessary in a dynamic arts context

The Person
Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must demonstrate evidence of:

- Proven experience in administration with a minimum of 2 years’ experience a similar sized venue
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a demanding environment and foster cross departmental collaboration with other NCH functions
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to work across multiple areas whilst prioritising competing demands and delivering tasks within tight deadlines
- Experience with Office 365 and/or other similar ICT systems

Desirable Requirements

The following requirements are desirable:

- An interest in cultural institutions and the music sector

The Executive Officer (PPC) salary scale (rates effective from 1 October 2023) applies for this position as follows:

€34,562; €36,464; €37,538; €39,634; €41,513; €43,330; €45,141; €46,914; €48,705; €50,446; €52,264; €53,482; €55,219¹; €56,969²

The successful candidate will be placed on the first point of the Executive Officer (PPC) salary scale.
