We have an excellent opportunity for an accomplished flautist to join the Ulster Orchestra.

You’ll not only have exceptional professional orchestral and solo flute ability, but you will also be an inspiring leader in both musical and non-musical aspects.

Strong communication skills are vital as you will be required to actively develop and support relationships within the wind section and the wider orchestral society.

Comprising of 63 internationally respected musicians the Ulster Orchestra is one of Northern Ireland’s most cherished and valuable cultural assets. We have continuously attracted some of the best musicians the industry has to offer, including the world-renowned Daniele Rustioni, our Chief Conductor since 2019. This array of talent affords the ability to create an inspiring year-round programme of symphonic events, chamber music, broadcast concerts for BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Ulster, and a Pops programme performed in Northern Ireland and further afield.
