Music Award Scheme Vocal Tutor

Brunel University is looking to appoint an experienced vocal tutor specialising in classical and musical theatre repertoire to provide individual tuition to allocated students over two or three terms (25 weeks) from October 2019 to May 2020.

Award students receive an annual allowance of 10 hours per year, increasing to 12.5 hours for their final year. The post should involve at least 4 hours of vocal award tuition per week over the autumn and spring terms, with an option to deliver a vocal technique class for an additional hour each week as part of our extra-curricular programme of weekly classes.

Applicants should be established performers with a relevant degree or professional qualifications and extensive experience of teaching and developing voices to an advanced standard.

Hourly rate - currently £38.43 per hour for award tuition and £34.40 for weekly class tuition.
